Quality General Manager

ÜMİT BATMAZ graduated from Middle East Technical University, Mechanical Engineering, Ankara, Turkey in 1992. In 1992 he started his career at Groupe Renault, in the Bursa Plant, where he held various positions: Automotive Technology Training Specialist, Assembly Line Quality Section Chief, Analysis, Vehicle Evaluation and Aftersales Section Chief, Audits and Customer Quality Assurance Manager or Power Train Plant QA Manager.

In 2008, he was appointed the Power Train Plant QA Manager for Renault Nissan Automotive IPL, India. One year later, as Customer Quality Assurance Manager within the Manufacturing QA Division at RENAULT SA, France, he headed customer quality assurance teams for 38 plants around the world.

In present, as Quality General Manager Groupe Renault Romania, he is in charge of the Quality Assurance System, in order to reach the international Groupe Renault quality level for the local company units.
