Renault is Launching the New Clio in Romania

    • Renault is renewing its range and is launching in Romania the fifth generation of its baseline model: Renault CLIO.
    • The new Clio is available with 4 different levels of equipment: Life, Zen, Intens and R.S. Line.
    • The price for the basic version Life Sce 65 starts from 11 900 euros (VTA included)

    Showcased at the Auto Saloon from Geneva in april 2019, the New Clio is launched in Romania as well. The commercial offer includes a starting price of 11 900 euros (VTA included) and it proposes a whole range with gas and diesel engines- all new in the range- whose power covers a wide palette: from 65 horsepower to 130 horsepower. Considered an iconic model due to its exceptional commercial success the new model from B segment is already one of the most secure town cars that has been ever tested by Euro NCAP getting the maximum rating of 5 stars. This performance is achieved especially due to its high passive safety and to the broadest selection of driving assistance systems from its category.  

    More modern, more athletic the new model is based upon the DNA which guaranteed its success for the last 30 years. Designed in conformity with the principle ’evolution and revolution’ the New Clio is reinventing itself: the exterior design is evolving towards a more mature silhouette while the interior design is completly rethought. At the interior the evolution is easily remarked. The passenger compartment completly redesigned is inspired from the upper segments regarding the perceived quality and the available technology.

    The new Clio is available with 4 different levels of equipment: Life, Zen, Intens and R.S. Line. Since the first level of equipment Life the new model offers a generous list of standard equipments:

    • Headlights Renault LED Pure Vision
    • A package of active safety: the active breaking system for emergencies with the detection of the cyclists and of the pedestrians, system of assistance for the hill start, traffic sign recognition, alert system for the range tread , assistance at maintaining the tread, automatized lighting of the headlights, emergency call 112
    • A package of passive safety: 6 airbags, an alert for the coupling of the seat belts for the five seats, headrests  type comma with increased protection, catching system ISOFIX for the back lateral seats
    • On-board display TFT 4,2''
    • Reclining back seats 1/3-2/3 with 3 headrest
    • Electrical front window with impulse

    The level of equipment ZEN offers the following extra standard equipments in addition to those available for Life level: Easy Link with a screen of 7’’ (compatible with Apple Car Play and Auto Android), electrical and heated mirrors, manually fold, with LED indicator and rims of 16’’.

    Regarding the Intens equipment it offers a selection of materials from the last generation, a ’’Smart Cockpit’’ driver oriented, a fluid line of board which highlights the impression of wideness, sliding armrest, customizable screens, rims from 16'' alloy, Full LED lights back and fronth. Hands-free access and folding electrical mirrors. This level of equipment has in addition the following:

    • Navigation system with a touch screen of 7", smartphone replication
    • Board screening TFT  7"
    • Adaptive Assistant for main beam
    • Electrical parking brake with Auto Hold function
    • Rearview mirror with anti-glare protection
    • Multi-sense with 3 ways of driving (MY SENSE, ECO, SPORT) and ambiental lights (8 colours)
    • Chrome-plated lateral contour

    The New Clio RS Line (previous known under the naming of GT Line) encompasses the sportsmanship of Renault Sport at exterior and interior. Being one of the pioneers in the option for a sport package the model strongly supported the strategy of Renault Sport range on all the markets in 2010. With a more evolved and reacher offer RS Line represents more than a change of name for the version. It’s a response to numerous clients’ expectations who wish for a strong differentiation sustained by a more dinamic silhouette.

    At the exterior, the New Clio Rs Line represents the dinamic line of F1 inspiration which is the design signature specific for the R.S. models. As well, the version disposes of a honeycomb grid, rims from 17'' alloy and a more athletic back panel. At interior we find another specific elements for the R.S. such as the sport seats with lateral support, carbon insertions, sport steering wheel from perforated leather merket with the RS logo, aluminium pedal board and a black milieu with red details and seams.
