Monday, 10th of October 2011, at Uzina Mecanica and Şasiuri Dacia (UMCD) was manufactured the JH gearbox with number 2,000,000. It is a gearbox of type JH3*057 that will equip a Logan vehicle manufactured in the Renault Pars factory from Iran.
The production of JH gearboxes has started ten years ago, and the progresses obtained are due to the exemplar conscription of all the employees, the the management quality and to the systematic enforcement of the 3R (Responsibility, Reactivity, Rigour).
At present, on the assembly line of the JH gearboxes there work 50 operators and are produced 20 JH gearbox references. The capacity of the installation line is of 860 gearboxes/team.
The JH gearboxes assemblied in UMCD are delivered to Uzina Vehicule Dacia and the Renault factories in Russia, Morocco, Iran, India, South Africa, Colombia.
Within UMCD there is also manufactured the TL gearbox that equips different Renault models (Clio, Modus, Kangoo, Mégane, Scénic, Laguna), Nissan models (Tiida, Sentra, Versa, Latio, Livia, Note, Qashqai) and Dacia Duster. This is a cutting edge manual gearbox and is the first common gearbox of the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
