The Automotive Brands with the Most Important Media Coverage in 2010: Dacia and Renault

Dacia and Renault stayed in 2010 the automotive brands with the most important media coverage, according to the survey Mediafax Monitoring carried out last year: from the 1st of January to the 31st of December.

The Romanian brand came first in the ranking with 8.6% media coverage; Renault follows it closely at a distance of 2.5 points. The two brands of the Renault Group outstripped others such as: Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Toyota, Ferrari and Opel. The top ten this year comprises the same “actors” as in 2009, but only Dacia and Renault managed to stay on the same positions.

The survey conducted by Mediafax, leader in the media monitoring services has as entry data 59,000 mentions of 59 automotive brands in 159 nationwide publications, 12 TV channels and 8 radio channels.
