Dacia, Official Car at FILB 7

  • Dacia supported the 7th edition of the International Literature Festival in Bucharest (FILB), the most important international, independent literature festival in Romania, held between 3-6 December 2014.

    The events within FILB 7 took place at Clubul Ţăranului, British Council, Balassi Institute – the Hungarian Institute in Bucharest and Cărtureşti book store (Verona). 

    Guests from abroad included Serghei Jadan (Ukraine), Toni Marques (Brazil), Emilian Galaicu-Păun (Republic of Moldova), Immanuel Mifsud (Malta), Andrea Bajani (Italy), Najwan Darwish (Palestine), Krisztina Tóth (Hungary), Marius Daniel Popescu (Switzerland), Paul McAuley (United Kingdom) or Richard Morgan (United Kingdom). Important names of contemporary Romanian literature joined them during the four festival days.

    The novelties of this edition of the International Literature Festival in Bucharest included an evening dedicated to Science Fiction literature and to fantasy, attended by two of the most important contemporary British authors (Paul McAuley, Richard Morgan), together with two of the masters of Romanian SF (Sebastian A. Corn, Michael Haulică).
