Dacia, the most important employer from Arges supports this year too the “Tulip Symphony”, an event organized by the Local Council and the City Hall of Pitesti from April 15th to April 17th 2011. The “Tulip Symphony” comprises a series of cultural, sport and trade events, among which the traditional flower show to be held at the “Book House”. A Dacia car fleet, made up of 3 Dusters, a Sandero and a Logan MCV will be available for the organizers during the entire event.
“The Dacia story began here, at Pitesti. We are happy that a brand with a growing success, especially abroad, supports the Tulip Symphony, a traditional event of the local community. We are proud that Dacia Duster, the most recent model manufactured at Mioveni will open for the 2nd year in a row the Flower Parade on Friday, April 15th, 2011”, said Tudor Pendiuc, the mayor of Pitesti.
This year, within the Tulip Symphony, Dacia will also support the organization of a Phoenix concert. “We are proud to support the most important, and at the same time the most famous event which takes place annually at Pitesti. Each of the 14,000 employees from the Mioveni manufacturing site is an additional reason for us to get involved in the local community. In our 8th year of partnership with the Tulip Symphony we decided to offer to the citizens of Pitesti a musical present, i.e. a concert given by the Phoenix band with the philharmonic orchestra from Pitesti”, declared Anca Oreviceanu, Communications Director Dacia.
The show, called “Symphoenix”, has as guests the soprano Irina Baiant and Moni Bordeianu and will take place on April 16th, in the City Hall Square (Vasile Milea) from the city center. The “Tulip Symphony” is a traditional event of Pitesti, now at its 34th edition.
