Jerome Olive, general director of Dacia and of Renault Group in Romania, was rewarded with the Eurostars 2011 Award, at the category Car Division CEO within the Eurostars 2011 Awards Gala, organized by Automotive News Europe on Monday, 12th of September, within the Frankfurt Motor Show.
«I receive this award in the name of the 18,000 employees of the Renault Group in Romania. This distinction represents the acknowledgement of the evolution of Dacia, from a national brand in an Eastern Europe country, to an international brand, that is exported at prezent in over 60 countries around the world. Rest assured of the fact that our concern remains the one to satisfy every day our customers with competitive vehicles, both from the point of view of the quality, and from the price/deliveries ratio», declared Jérôme Olive.
Within the Gala, Laurens Van den Acker, the industrial design director of Renault, got the Eurostars 2011 Award at the category Design.
By the Eurostars competition, initiated in 1998, Automotive News Europe acknowledges the merits and rewards the remarkable players in the automobile industry. Along the time, top managers of Renault were awarded with Eurostars for different categories.
